Get Ready for Female Football Week at Ian Barker Fields! 💜⚽

We’re excited to bring Female Football Week back in 2026 — with all the action taking place on Saturday, May 9 at Ian Barker Fields!

In a big step forward for the women’s game, all matches will be played exclusively on Saturday, separate from the men’s fixtures, giving female football the spotlight it deserves. This dedicated day is all about showcasing the talent, passion, and growth of our women and girls across the league.

All teams from U12s through to Division 1 Women will come together at one venue, creating a full day of football and a powerful display of unity across every AWFA club.

Games will run right throughout the day, with the first matches kicking off at 10:45am and the final games getting underway at 6:00pm, setting the stage for a full day of football and celebration.

We’re hoping to draw a big crowd and truly feel the vibrance of our football community — with players, families, and supporters all coming together to celebrate the women’s game in one place.

A big thank you in advance to St Pats Football Club, our host, along with the local businesses, volunteers, and clubs who will help bring the day to life. Their support helps create an atmosphere that makes this event so special year after year.
